Finally got around to changing out the timing belt on the Fiat Spider

Every 3 years... 25K miles... jeez, figured I’d go ahead and do the job since I had no idea how many miles were on the old belt. I’ve been spending some time removing all the old grime on the cam covers too-- starting to look shiny!

Looking good! Is it a big job on the 124? They are fairly simple mechanically AFAIK :)

Pretty easy as far as these jobs go. Toughest part was fitting it past a protective lip around the crankshaft pulley... you were clearly supposed to remove the 200ft.lb bolt with a impact wrench but you can just barely sneak it by without removing it. My fingers are sore but otherwise it went fairly smoothly...
